Balls used during fitness, strength or functional training are simple and multifunctional accessories that will help you strengthen your body and diversify your exercises. The gym is not only complicated and heavy equipment for isolated exercises, benches and barbells. A light, colored ball, although resembling a toy, can do wonders if you use it regularly - your body will become stronger and firmer. Your child can also exercise on a fitness ball - for the youngest you can choose jumping balls, which, apart from fun, ensure muscle strengthening and coordination.

When to use the fitness ball?

Maybe you won't build a huge mass with it, but you will take care of other important matters! Gymnastic balls are great for stabilization, balance and deep muscle exercises. It is not easy to maintain the correct posture when sitting or lying on the ball, and due to its size it is also not easy to hold it in your hands, e.g. when exercising in a lying position. In order to maintain balance, deep muscles must be forced to work, which are sometimes neglected even by people exercising regularly. These are the muscles that allow the spine to be properly positioned and its natural curvature. Due to their weakness there occurs not only bad posture, but also recurrent back pain. And when you're done exercising, you can also diversify your stretching thanks to the fitness ball.

What is functional training?

How many times a day, during normal activities, do you squat or pull up on a bar? Exactly. Functional training is about imitating the natural movements of our body - getting up from a chair, lifting something off the floor. Functional training balls are accessories resembling medicine balls that everyone probably remembers from school PE lessons. You can choose balls of different weights, depending on your experience and strength.
